Welcome to the Deborahhands International School application page. The steps below explain how to apply, what to prepare, and what to expect. If you need support at any point, our Admissions Office is ready to help.
Parents and guardians can make an enquiry by:
Visiting the school in person during office hours
Calling or emailing the Admissions Office
Completing the online enquiry form on our website
Our admissions team will respond promptly with information about availability, fees, and next steps.
Before applying, please gather the following:
Completed application form (available online or from the school office)
Child’s birth certificate (original and photocopy)
Recent passport-size photographs (2–4)
Latest school report or recommendation (if transferring)
Health and immunization record
Any relevant assessment reports (if applicable)
You may submit your completed application and required documents either:
Online via the admissions portal (preferred), or
in person at the school admissions office
A non-refundable application fee may apply. Payment instructions will be provided on submission.
Depending on the age and entry level, applicants will be invited for:
An age-appropriate placement assessment (literacy, numeracy, and readiness checks)
A short interview or meeting with a member of staff (parents may be invited to attend)
Assessments are designed to be supportive and friendly; they help us place each child in the class that best matches their current level and needs.
After assessment and document verification, the Admissions Team will review the application. Successful applicants will receive:
An official offer letter or admission confirmation
Details on fees, fee schedule, and payment options
A deadline to accept the place and complete enrollment formalities
If a place is not immediately available, applicants may be placed on a waiting list and contacted as openings occur.
When you accept an offer, the following steps will complete enrollment:
Payment of acceptance fee / school fees as outlined in the offer
Submission of any outstanding documents
Attendance at a short induction session (date provided) for parents and pupils to meet teachers and learn school routines
Start dates will be confirmed in the admission letter and orientation materials. Families will receive guidance on uniforms, supplies, term dates, and the school calendar.
Admission is subject to document verification and meeting the school’s eligibility criteria.
The school reserves the right to place students at the level that best fits their educational needs.
Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis after all requirements are satisfied.
